Thank you to everyone who came and supported us for another great Chamber Event!
The Lawson Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year 2019 was presented to Dale Stark, owner of A Cut Above. The award was presented by Chamber President Robert Kellam and Treasurer Raelyn Dutra. Dale received the recognition for his time and dedication to the Lawson Chamber of Horrors. The proceeds from the event fund the Chamber Scholarships for Lawson graduating seniors.
The 3rd Annual Lawson Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year was presented to North County Community Center, Gary and Gail Ryther. Gary and Gail were recognized for their many years of service and dedication to the Lawson Chamber of Commerce and the Lawson Community. The doors of the North Country Community Center are always open to the Lawson Chamber for their many dinner meetings and luncheon programs; as well as many other Lawson organizations. We thank North County Community Center for their support of the Lawson Chamber of Commerce and our community.
The Lawson Chamber of Commerce awarded three Lawson High School seniors scholarships during the Chamber’s Annual dinner. The success of the 3rd Annual “Chamber of Horrors” Haunted House, meant the Chamber could present three $1200.00 scholarships this year. Counselor Lynn Knoch presented the scholarships to the students, along with new Chamber President Robert Kellam.
